Details are available in our Guidance Note number 53, which addresses the effects of the changes. All material on this website should be read in light of the Treasurer’s announcement.

FIRB Application Portal planned outage - Friday 22 May

The FIRB Application Portal will be unavailable due to updates on Friday 22 May 2020 from 6pm to 10pm AEST.

Updates to the FIRB Application Portal include:

  • Improvements to clearly display the dollar amounts applicants have entered
  • Provide applicants with the ability to request a 6 month statutory deadline
  • Give applicants the opportunity to explain why a 6 month deadline is not requested

This does not mean applications will take the full six months to process. We are committed to meeting commercial deadlines wherever possible.

Any saved applications that are yet to be submitted will still be available, however applicants will need to navigate back to 'initial questions' to provide information around a request for a 6 month deadline.
